Ahhhhh…today is the 2nd day of the CNY..Woke up at 8.30 am and decided to go for run at the Bedok Reservoir. Took the bus as normally the carpark would be crowded so reach there at about 9.30 am. Ran the whole course of 4.3 km in under 25 mins. Such a nice day..blue skies and everything nice. Not many people though as you can see from the photos below. Thank the Lord for such a wonderful day... how can one resist this?
Upon completing my run, I decided to walk another round since today is CNY. I have never done this before. So with my camera on hand, I began my walk in the hope of finding something interesting in this reservoir park e.g. monkeys, etc. The scenery is beautiful…here are some:

One of the completed floating platform. Just wonder who sits at this floating platform...so hot...maybe when there is a dragon boat race on..yeah maybe...walk on..

I pray to God as I walk the course, there were few people in the park so it makes praying all the more easier. At the same time thanking God for such a wonderful day. Images of mum still lingers on..for the many wonderful things that she has sacrificed for us....I miss her a lot as I think of her and I ask God to take care of her in heaven. I also told God that I hope mum is happy in heaven.
It took me about an hour to complete the course and upon reaching the endpoint I saw this sign on the track:
East coast park? 7920m? Ah but then just remember…today is CNY rite?, cannot work too hard, so just stop at Reservoir park…
I went back and reach home at about 11.30 am and slept till 2pm (I sleep a lot…just my hobby..this is my hobby since young and I have never change it since..so that is why is a waste money to go tour coz I will end up sleeping in the hotel) We had bread since today is Friday (Season of Lent), I had 4 slices.... cannot eat too much..Fast aand abstinence today..
Drive to bro’s place at about 5pm to settle mum’s photo. Have dinner with bro;s family and this is what we had:
IT’S STEAMBOAT!!!!!……Wah in my so many years of living I never had steam boat at home. Yum..yum..yum so many ingredients for the pot..and this the photo of us. It was meaningful in the sense that 2 closely knit grieving families coming together to observe CNY in a quiet way. No exchange of ang pows, no exchange of oranges, just simple wishes of the year, no display of cookies though I help myself to those cookies in the background (It is meant for private consumption actually...)

We drove back at about 10.15 pm and reach back home at about 10.40pm...what a relax CNY..filled with lots of sleep and "makan"..now I sleep some more till the next morning..Goodnite folks! Yawn! Yawn!
