There is a couple of minutes before I close for the day to celebrate singapore's 43 birthday..and I ponder on the issue of the next 10 years of my life...I envisage that it will be the most difficult period of my life...difficult coz I will be constantly facing issues in guiding 2 typical teeange girl into the straight path and prevent them, at all cost from straying into the wrong and immoral path...some time back I met a co worker in my previous company and use to ask him how old is his children and at that time he told me that they are in their teens and I told him life must be easy for him (compare to ours at that time when our girls is still on milk bottles)...and he told me ...in fact on the contrary...when children are small you see them every day (no worries, no problem) but in their teens you don't see them and that is where problem starts...I see his point now...and upon reflecting on this it is really scary...scary because you do not know what they are up to next, what company they hang out with, what is their lifestyle...etc...couple with the present age of advance technology...the forces of evil out there is stronger than any given era in the history of mankind...that is why being a parent in this era is most challenging, most stressful....and I am not surprise that our birthrate here like any where else in the world is declining...I studied biochemistry in my uni days and in one topic I studied how bacteria multiply in a given substrate...the pattern of reproduction found in a typical strain of bacteria follows the sigmoid pattern (which is of S shape) and if try you happen to starve the substrate of the nutrients and when the bacteria has compete with nutrients and couple with the fact the substrate is more longer conducive, the bacteria will choose to stop reproduce and decline...very true in the human reace as well...we have reach that stage similar to that faced by the bacteria colonies found on the agar plate....I ask Mother Mary together with my spritual friend St Theres of Lisieux to constantly be with me in this so-called......Turbulent Decade.

May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do you, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls.
